Sophomores, are you interested in applying to the NC School of Science & Math (NCSSM)? Are you aware the school has an online program that you can stay here and still be part of? Junior Emily Colborne is in the program and will host an Q&A (question & answer) session in the high school conference room on Tuesday, November 22, from 1:00-1:20 PM to learn more.

Important: It's highly recommended you register for the SAT by Tuesday if you haven't already taken it since there's only one more administration before the January NCSSM online program application deadline. (Inclement weather can sometimes affect winter SAT dates.)

The NCSSM offers "specialized STEM courses for rising 11th-12th graders across the state of NC who want to personalize their high school schedule." The application period is now open, but will close on January 15, 2017. Please plan to attend the interest meeting if this sounds like something you'd like to know more about.      https://www.ncssm.edu/online-admissions
