The Language Library is officially up and running! A Google Spreadsheet called "Language Library Catalog" has been shared with high school students that lists all of the books contained within the library. There is a sign on the library that tells you how to check out books, but here are the instructions for your convenience: CHECK OUT PROCEDURE: • Go to the Online Catalog and mark your name and the date you took it out in the white column on the right. • You can check out as many books or CDs as you like, but please remember this is a small library for a lot of people! • If a book or CD is not available, you may contact the Student Media Specialist and ask to be on the book’s waitlist. • The books and CDs are due within 2 weeks. • You can renew your check-out once. • Return a book or CD, place it in the return box. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS CONTACT THE STUDENT MEDIA SPECIALIST SARAH MASON. Please note that at the bottom of the Spreadsheet there is another tab labeled "Online Language Resources." This page lists a variety of online resources for a very wide range of languages. Check it out! Lastly, please be aware that in order for this system to work, you must be mindful and respectful of the Google Spreadsheet, because in order to check out books on your own you are all given editing rights to the entire document. If you accidentally change an aspect of the spreadsheet that you didn't mean to, please contact the Student Media Specialist so that she knows to repair it. |
