Hello everyone! My name is Sarah Mason and you may have noticed the little bookshelf with a bunch of books you probably can't read. That is the Language Library and I am the Media Specialist, the head honcho. Library was started by a former student, Corena Owens, and has a bunch of books in a variety of different languages. Every high school student and teacher can check out a book from the library by going to the Language Library Catalogue (whose I link I have included below). I am currently unable to send this email and the document to the freshman class but I will do that as soon as possible. There are some rules to the Library that I do ask you to follow. I have also included this document's link. If you plan to check out a book, make sure you read the rules and guidelines! Last year, there were a few books that went missing. I would like to think that this is simply because someone was unsure what to do (if so you could've emailed me) and not that the books were stolen. One last thing, if you have any books in any language that you are trying to get rid of, please donate them to me! You can find me in the hallway (I'm the girl with the cat lunch box and green and white backpack). I am hoping to place a couple donation boxes (one in the Internet Cafe and one beside the library) but that might take a bit. The Library is a supremely useful resource if you're learning a new language or are just curious. Please do not hesitate to use it! Let me know if you have any questions!
