(10:15 PM UPDATE) Due to conditions that are worsening as the night temperature drops and reports we are receiving, Chatham Charter School will operate on a two-hour delay on Friday, January 31.  The Pittsboro bus pick-up will also be on a two-hour delay.  If you live an area that still has troublesome road conditions, do what is best for you and your family in deciding to come to school.  We apologize for having to make a change at this late hour, but feel a need to take extra precautions.  Thank you for understanding.

Lunch orders:  Plan to turn in your lunch orders for next week Friday morning.  Note:  Lunch orders not fulfilled this week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Jan. 28-30) will be carried over to next week so only pay for Monday and Friday (Feb. 3 & 7) if you ordered Tuesday through Thursday.  If you did not order lunch this week, place a normal order next week.  This Friday’s (Jan. 31) pizza order will be served.

Fan support for Friday home basketball games:  Support the middle and high school basketball teams Friday night against Faith Christian.  We want a big home cheering section. Be sure to bring money for admission and concessions (that will include hotdogs and pizza).  The middle school girls’ game will begin at 4:00 PM followed by the middle school boys’ game.  The high school girls will play at the conclusion of the middle school games, likely around 6:30 PM.  The high school boys will have the final game of the evening.  We plan to live stream all four games so look for the link on our homepage (www.chathamcharter.org) if you or someone else who is a fan cannot attend.
